Download this video

Thanks for checking out the first episode of BanktasticTV’s “I Know Y.” Here are some important notes about this episode:

Internet Usage
For this episode, I was able to interview some great high school students while they were playing at a local game venue. My focus for this episode was to get some insight into how they use the internet. Facebook vs. Myspace, do they use Twitter, and a few more. The answers might surprise you, so check it out!

  1. Brad Garland Says:

Lisa, this was awesome! I loved it.

Financial folks talk note…there is good content here of the upcoming market!

  2. Jeffry Pilcher Says:

Caution: Just because Gen-Y uses MySpace doesn’t mean your financial institution should too.

It’s no wonder kids haven’t heard about Twitter. Twitter is a better B2B tool and professional networking tool than anything (be honest, think about your own usage). There are limited B2C applications for financial institutions, mostly because of the size of the audience they’d be dealing with. A credit union with 100,000 members might be lucky to get 400 followers. Big TV shows have a tough time getting more than a thousand or so followers, and they have millions of viewers.

  3. Pete Jones Says:

You’re right on. Couldn’t have said it better myself. -Pete

  4. Tim McAlpine Says:

Excellent job Lisa. I am enjoying your show.

    Thanks, Tim! :)
