Each of us puts in a lot of personal effort to continually make this site better. These roundtable videos are great. It’s fun to listen in on what you guys are discussing/arguing about.
As for error screens, I just hit one today while watching this video: http://urltea.com/390y
I’d suggest looking at the Bright Kite and Twitter error pages and mimicing something similar to that. Though the error may still be the same, it doesn’t seem as severe to the user because it still looks like part of your site and branding.
