BarCampBank
Brad discusses several different BarCampBank events coming up. If you’re in the area, check out BarCampBankSanFrancisco on March 29, 2008. Also check out BarCampBankNewEngland on April 5, 2008. If you live in the DFW area, we’re planning on putting together a BarCampBankDFW sometime in June. If you’d like more information or would like to volunteer to help organize BarCampBankDFW, please email Brad at brad@banktastic.com.

RIsks of Carrying Around Company Data
Lisa Randolph posted an article on Banktastic about if the ability to have such sensitive company information carried around on our phones & laptops is a huge risk factor. The article got some great feedback from members of the Banktastic Community.

obopay.com
Brad’s WOW (Website of the Week) was obopay.com. It’s a great website where you can quickly exchange money with your friends through cell phones. It costs only 10 cents to send money, but it’s free to receive or withdraw money. This is a great service for people needing money in a hurry. Don’t forget - if you sign up with obopay.com and send a comment back on the Banktastic Blog, Brad will send you $3 to go get some coffee or whatever else you like. Who doesn’t like free money?
